This little adjustable tie rod adapter stud allows you to use 5/8" heim rod ends instead of OEM tie rods. It also allows you to adjust steering geometry to minimize or eliminate bump steer.

Made of 4140 chromoly steel and zinc coated. Includes jam nuts. Choose from GM (10 degree taper) or Pinto (7 degree taper). IMCA approved.

Fitment note:
The taper of the GM style is made to fit a 1978 to 1988 G body car such as Monte Carlo, Malibu, Cutlass, Regal, etc. You will need to compare the taper measurements of this adapter to the taper size of your spindle to determine the compatibility. Measurements for reference: Degree of Taper: 10 degree Top of Taper: 0.615" (approx 5/8") Bottom of Taper: 0.460" (approx 7/16")

The taper of the Pinto style is made to 1974-1980 Pinto/Bobcat and 1974-1978 Mustang II. You will need to compare the taper measurements of this adapter to the taper size of your spindle to determine the compatibility. Measurements for reference: Degree of Taper: 7 degree Top of Taper: 0.560" (approx 9/16") Bottom of Taper: 0.630" (approx 5/8")
