The difference between single, double and multi-card stainless steel clamping pipe fittings

At the end of the 50s of the twentieth century, Swedish engineer Gunnar Larsson invented stainless steel snap-on pipe fitting connection technology, in 1967 Kronprinz AG began to implement stainless steel clamping pipe fitting connection technology in Germany, and in 1969 German Mapress began to produce and sell clamp-on pipe fittings. It is called M-type pipe fittings in foreign countries, and it is also called D-type clamping pipe fittings in China, commonly known as single clamping.

Double snap pipe fittings were invented by Vigea in Germany, and in 1989, Viega began to produce and sell stainless steel double snap pipe fittings. It is called V-shaped pipe fittings in foreign countries, and it is also called S-type clamping pipe fittings in China, also known as double clamping.

1. Realize the thin-walled pipes and pipe fittings and save materials.

2. Low connection strength (the connection strength of the interface is less than 1/3 of the strength of the pipe body)

Single clamping pressure:

The rubber ring connection is a flexible connection, the end of the pipe fitting is clamped in the U-shaped groove is equipped with an O-shaped sealing ring, the pipe is inserted into the pipe fittings during installation, and the end of the pipe fitting is clamped with special pressure pliers, so that the end of the pipe and the pipe fitting shrink at the same time (small on the outside and large on the inside, the surface forms a hexagonal shape), forming an indentation inward to achieve connection strength and meet the sealing requirements.

The single card connection can pass the acceptance when pressing and accepting, but it is easy to leak points after decoration. This is mainly caused by the fact that in the subsequent decoration construction, the worker inadvertently touches the pipeline, which affects the position of the pipe and external force, and changes the shape of the pipe sealing ring socket.

Dual clamping:

Using the effective rigidity of metal materials and the principle of elastic compression ratio of sealing materials, caliper crimping is used at the connection between pipes and pipe fittings, compressed into two hexagons, forming two indentations inside and outside, comprehensively anti-locking, and realizing the surface shape fixation, thus greatly improving its pull-out resistance and anti-rotation ability. There are five advantages in the face of market competition:

1. Double clamping two resistance rings, with stronger pull-out resistance.

2. The pipe insertion fitting has a guide section, which is not easy to scratch the sealing ring.

3. The sealing ring is completely sealed when clamping, which effectively improves its service life.

4. The sealing ring is squeezed evenly left and right, and will not be squeezed out by water pressure from one side.

5. When the connection of pipe fittings is disturbed by external force, it will not have much impact on the sealing ring.

Multi-clamp pressure:

There are two annular U-shaped grooves at the pipe fitting, and the first and second convex rings are equipped with sealing rings respectively. Double seal multi-clamp pipe fittings have one more sealing ring and one more indentation than traditional clamping pipe fittings, so there is an extra insurance. It has the following advantages:

1. The length of the pipe fitting is increased, and there are 3 crimping grooves at the connection between the pipe and the pipe fitting, which greatly increases and strengthens the tensile pull-out force of the connecting part.

2. The shortcomings of insufficient sealing performance of single sealing ring have been improved, and the single sealing ring has been improved to two sealing rings, which greatly improves the reliability and safety after connection. However, due to the influence of its patents and tools, and at the same time, it is necessary to overcome market cognition, competitive pressure and other factors, and it is difficult to promote.
